Shilpa Dhoot is not just the lead counsellor at Zen Minds — she is a steady, warm presence for the people and families she works with across Pune. She completed her postgraduate course in counselling psychology from Fergusson College, Pune, and specialises in psychosomatic and sports counselling, along with emotional crisis management.

Her practice spans a wide range of people — children, adults, athletes, and families navigating complex challenges. Since founding Zen Minds in 2016, Shilpa has been dedicated to personalised, empathetic care that gently meets each person where they are.

Her approach integrates evidence-based methods — Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT) — with mindfulness and a person-centered stance, to support personal growth and emotional resilience.
